Tap Record, speak, then tap Stop. Silence does not automatically end recording. Use Play to review, or + to add more audio. Save or delete the unfinished recording before starting a new one.

Install the app on your paired iPhone and Apple Watch. Saved recordings transfer when the devices can connect. Keep both apps installed and allow time for queued transfers. An unfinished recording remains on the device that captured it.

Open a saved recording to start transcription. Keep its detail screen open while it processes. An Apple language-model download may be needed. If you leave the screen or background the app, use Retry when you return. Language or device support can limit transcription; the audio remains playable.

When a completed transcript is visible, tap Copy, then paste into Notes or another app. The app copies the complete text, including paragraph breaks.

Open a saved recording and choose Rename. Names are shared between paired devices. Saved deletion asks for confirmation and affects both copies when the devices connect. Deleting a recording also removes its phone transcript. Text already copied elsewhere is unaffected.

In the recordings list, turn the Crown to move through recordings. During playback, turn it to adjust volume. The Crown press remains a system control.

Include your iPhone/Watch model, OS version, app version, the steps you took, and any error shown. Do not send private recordings or transcripts unless you choose to do so for a specific support request.
